MEET KIM
Have you been there? The scary, deep sense of feeling alone, unheard and unseen? Please hear my heart when I say that I am sorry if you have. I want to help you. I began a journey towards restoration in 2012 after a series of events, tons of baggage, looming guilt, painful consequences and self loathing. I knew from that moment on, that I would spend the rest of my life helping women avoid that darkness and the feelings that chase it.
Being free, "unbound" and redeemed led me to want to be a Coach for women and UNBOUND was born.
You will read my credentials below, however, it is my life, up to this beautiful point.. that qualifies me the most. I have seen beauty and grace and freedom and humor and laughter and tears and joy and bitterness and forgiveness and pain and happiness. I have felt God speak, seen Him move, felt the calling to love myself deeply and to guide others on their own journey with accountability and partnership and above all, to remind those I coach that there is a God who loves you and sees you right where you are. I am a friend. I am a Coach. I understand.
MY EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PATH
I graduated from Texas State University with a minor in Psychology. I sold computers, published a romance novel, raised children and spent nearly a decade as a Preschool Teacher before I embarked upon my training and desire to be your Coach.
I am trained and dual-certified through Lifeforming Leadership Coaching and the Christian Coaching School with 60 course hours completed.
I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation and Christian Coaching Network International (and participating in their continuing education and workshops).
In 2018, I became a trained fascilitator of PAL (Parents of Addicted Loved Ones).
In 2019, I led a prayer ministry for a program in Travis County and corresponded with women in a jail program seeking prayers.
MY "OTHER THAN A COACH" SIDE
As a native Austinite, I didn't stray too far from home. Still located just a short commute from Austin, I live in the Hill Country surrounded by nature, plants and live super close to my two adult daughters. I also love to sing, sit by any creek I can find and visit with God, walking my dogs, checking out books from the library and sharing my story to help others. I have the honor of greeting fellow churchgoers each Sunday at my favorite church that stands on the land of my childhood home.
